This is a hybrid role requiring you to be on-site in Capenhurst near Chester (CH1 6ES) 3 days per week. Please apply ONLY if you live within a reasonable commuting distance
About the role:
- Provide guidance and support to our people leaders, equipping them with tools and knowledge for effective people management
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of HR services including onboarding, performance management, employee relations, HR systems & data, reward & benefits administration and support for learning & development
- Partner with the Chief People Officer in delivering the HR strategy including leading engagement, talent and organisation development initiatives
- Support recruitment strategies to attract and retain scarce technical talent
- Continuously improve and evolve HR policies and processes to support our growing business
- Promote diversity, equity and inclusion throughout the organisation
- Lead the small HR Operations team, coaching team members and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
What we’ll need from you:
- Proven HR management experience; ideally within a technical, engineering or industrial setting
- Extensive experience leading and managing HR services across the full employee lifecycle including responsibility for driving improvements in HR operations
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills to support and advise mangers effectively
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and UK employment law
- A practical, solutions-focused approach with excellent organisational skills
- CIPD Level 5 (or above) qualification or equivalent working experience
