Position: HR Manager – Flow Control Business Area Location: Shanghai Yangpu Office (min. 2 days/week in Jiaxing Plant) Are you a strategic HR professional passionate about driving organizational excellence and employee engagement? We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to support our Flow Control Business Area teams in China. In this role, you will serve as the primary Human Resources representative for the teams under responsible area, ensuring full compliance with local labor laws, regulations and global standards, driving key HR initiatives, providing strategic and operational support to business leaders, and fostering a positive, compliant, and high-performing work environment. In this role, you will: Talent & Employee Development Lead annual HR processes including performance reviews, salary planning, and talent reviews. Coach leaders on performance management, development, and people decisions. Champion employee wellbeing, engagement, and inclusion initiatives. Monitor HR trends and provide insights on rewards, recruitment, and retention. Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding Partner with recruiters to fulfill hiring needs aligned with business priorities. Drive local employer branding efforts and represent the company at events. Employee Relations & Compliance Manage employee relations, disciplinary actions, and terminations. Serve as the contact for labor unions and government authorities. Ensure compliance with labor laws and ethical standards. Lead HR audits and maintain compliant employee records. HR Operations & Policy Management Develop and implement local HR policies and ensure effective communication. Oversee employee benefits and collaborate on benefit optimization. Guide HR generalists in attendance and overtime data analysis. Partner with HR teams to enhance service delivery and employee experience. Global Mobility & Legal Entity HRM Coordinate international assignments and ensure local compliance. Harmonize HR policies across the legal entity and lead handbook updates. Manage labor union affairs and other legal entity responsibilities. This is an individual contributor role with both strategic and operational scope, supporting country-level and business area-level HR needs. To succeed in this role, you should have: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Law, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum of 6 years of HR experience, preferably within a multinational environment Proven track record in employee relations, HR operations, and policy development and implementation aligned with local labor laws and organizational standards Proficient in HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite Deep knowledge of Chinese labor laws, employment regulations, and HR compliance Fluent in English and Mandarin, with excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills; able to coach and influence stakeholders at all levels Effective working both independently and cross-functionally in diverse environments Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism Skilled at managing complexity and driving continuous improvement We offer you: An opportunity to work in a leading global company, contribute to a high-impact business line, and grow professionally in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
