As an HR Manager within our Global HR Services team, you will guide and coach a bilingual team of HR Advisors while partnering closely with Strategic HR, Centers of Excellence, Legal, Health & Safety, and operational leaders to address complex employee relations matters across the organization. Your Impact Provide expert direction to HR Advisors on complex employee relations matters across multiple business areas. Partner with Strategic HR, Legal, Health & Safety, Finance, and operational leadership to assess risk and determine appropriate actions. Lead, mentor, and develop a bilingual (English/French) HR Advisory team through clear objectives, coaching, and growth opportunities. Manage escalated or highly complex employee relations cases and ensure consistent application of policies. Conduct and oversee investigations, recommending resolutions that protect organizational integrity and minimize risk. Support leaders in all aspects of performance management, including effective feedback and performance improvement strategies. Prepare severance calculations and support operational leaders in conducting involuntary offboarding discussions. Collaborate with Absence Management to coordinate return-to-work experiences following disability or other extended leaves. Guide the consistent application of progressive discipline aligned with WSP’s Code of Conduct and Health & Safety programs. Provide compensation recommendations for out‑of‑cycle increases and promotions. The Skills That Set You Apart Deep experience in employee relations, performance management, compensation, and management coaching. Proven ability to handle sensitive HR matters, navigate conflict, and lead complex cases. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English and French. Proactive mindset with demonstrated success implementing improved HR processes and solutions. Strong knowledge of employment legislation and Human Rights requirements across Canada. Ability to lead in fast‑paced environments with tight timelines and competing priorities. Diploma or degree in Human Resources (CPHR considered an asset). 10+ years in an HR generalist capacity with proven leadership, coaching, and employee development experience; 2+ years leading a team.
