Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to lead and manage all human resources functions for our India operations. This role is both strategic and hands-on, ensuring smooth execution of HR processes while implementing initiatives that enhance compliance, engagement, and operational excellence. You will oversee recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR analytics, and policy implementation for India, while aligning with global standards. Key Responsibilities: India HR Operations · Manage end-to-end HR operations for India, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies. · Oversee the full employee lifecycle—onboarding, documentation, background checks, and exit formalities. · Maintain onboarding SLAs; ensure timely completion of joining kits, IDs, and documentation. · Implement process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy. HR Analytics & Reporting · Maintain accurate HR metrics: headcount, attrition, diversity, cost-per-hire, and compliance status. · Prepare monthly and quarterly HR reports for leadership, including hiring ROI and retention trends. · Collaborate with Finance for payroll accuracy and headcount alignment. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment · Drive recruitment strategies to meet hiring targets within defined SLAs. · Manage ATS systems and ensure data accuracy across candidate pipelines. · Optimize sourcing channels and report ROI on recruitment spend. Employee Engagement & Culture · Plan and execute engagement activities, recognition programs, and culture-building initiatives. · Conduct pulse surveys and analyze engagement trends to improve retention. · Partner with internal teams to strengthen employer branding and internal communications. Compliance & Policy Management · Ensure adherence to Indian labor laws, statutory requirements, and company policies. · Conduct periodic audits on HR documentation and contracts. · Collaborate with Legal and Finance for payroll compliance and tax documentation. Systems & Tools · Manage HR systems (HRIS, ATS) and ensure accurate data maintenance. · Evaluate and implement tools that improve HR process automation and reporting. Qualifications: · 8–12 years of HR experience with strong exposure to India operations. · Expertise in HR operations, compliance, recruitment, and analytics. · Hands-on experience with HRIS/ATS systems (e.g., BambooHR, Workable) and reporting tools. · Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance. · Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. · HR certifications (SHRM, CHRP, or equivalent) preferred. What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days: By the end of Month 1: · Understand India HR processes, compliance requirements, and current systems. · Build strong relationships with leadership and offshore teams. · Audit existing HR documentation, onboarding workflows, and recruitment pipelines. By the end of Month 2: · Take ownership of recruitment and onboarding SLAs; ensure timely and accurate execution. · Implement improvements in HR operations and reporting accuracy. · Launch first employee engagement activity and pulse survey. By the end of Month 3: · Deliver a complete HR dashboard with key metrics (attrition, headcount, cost-per-hire). · Achieve compliance readiness for internal audits and statutory filings. · Present a process improvement plan for automation and efficiency gains. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): · Recruitment SLA Compliance: % of positions closed within 30-day SLA. · Onboarding Accuracy & Timeliness: % of new hires onboarded with complete documentation within SLA. · HR Compliance: Zero audit findings and 100% adherence to statutory requirements. · Employee Engagement: Pulse survey participation rate and engagement score improvement. · HR Reporting Accuracy: Timely delivery of the monthly HR dashboard with
