Description
As a key member of the site leadership team, the Human Resources Manager provides strategic guidance and drives continuous improvement for the plant. This role oversees all aspects of the human resources function, supporting both operations and support teams within the facility. Responsibilities include executing the site-level Strategic HR Plan and implementing initiatives that strengthen organizational success. Core areas of focus include compensation, training, employee relations, leave programs, staffing, culture, engagement, and building organizational capability. In this role you will: Serve as a key member of the leadership team, providing strategic input and driving continuous improvement. Develop and execute site HR strategy to promote culture, compliance, and business results. Lead HR initiatives aligned with corporate and business group objectives. Advise leadership on policies and regulations to maintain compliance and achieve business goals. Manage performance and talent processes, including goal setting, reviews, and succession planning. Oversee communication, change management, and employee engagement initiatives. Drive action plans from employee surveys and foster inclusion and diversity programs. Manage compensation, recognition, workers' compensation, and leave programs. Lead talent acquisition and retention strategies to meet short- and long-term needs. Support employee development and training compliance. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Five (5) years of progressive experience in Human Resources. Two (2) years of experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates that reside outside a 50-mile radius of Jonesville, SC Master's degree in human resources or business from an accredited institution. Seven (7) years progressive experience in Human Resources. Five (5) years supporting manufacturing PHR or SPHR certification. Maintain confidentiality with sensitive information Strong written and verbal communication skills Effective interpersonal skills; collaborative team player Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment Skilled at interpreting and aligning company policies Proven ability to influence across all levels in a matrixed organization Working knowledge of employment laws and practical application Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage priorities Conflict resolution and ability to diffuse challenging situations Focus on talent development and retention
