At this employer, HR is certainly not just starting out, but will be further professionalized in the coming period. Ready to lead that next phase?
As HR Manager (manufacturing industry Alkmaar), you build upon what is already in place and initiate the next phase of professionalization. You are given the space and the mandate to further shape the HR organization: from the composition of your team to the way processes and systems operate. You lead the HR team and serve as an example when it comes to leadership.
You switch effortlessly between strategy and the shop floor, are decisive yet approachable, and never lose sight of the human element. You are just as comfortable acting as a sparring partner for the management team as you are as a point of contact for an employee with a question. One of the first things you sink your teeth into is taking the HR systems and workflows to the next level, for example regarding the onboarding of new colleagues. You also develop and maintain clear, uniform job profiles, aligned with the growth the organization is experiencing. You do not have to handle payroll administration yourself, but you understand a payslip down to the last detail and can explain it if things get a little more complicated.
The organization has clear growth ambitions and is working on structuring production more efficiently. This requires an HR department that adapts: in recruitment, in development, and in utilizing existing talent. You sit on the Management Team and thereby help determine the course for the Netherlands. You spend the vast majority of your time working and making decisions autonomously from within the Dutch organization; additionally, you liaise at regular intervals with HR colleagues within the broader international organization of which this company is a part.
You will be working at RAVO, based in Alkmaar and known for the sweeping machines used worldwide. RAVO has been part of the Fayat Group since 2009, a French family business with a network of more than 130 autonomous organizations. Within Cleantech, RAVO forms its own business unit, together with sister companies Dulevo, Mathieu, and Scarab. D
