Description

RECRUITMENT ADMINISTRATION

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from drafting job descriptions to onboarding new employees.
  • Advertise all vacancies internally on Deputy and be the point of contact for internal applications.
  • Assist Managers, where required, with the posting of job adverts on platforms including caterer, indeed, LinkedIn and NLC and forward internal and external applications to line managers for screening.
  • Check right to work documentation when candidates come to the Club for an interview and prior to any job offer being extended.
  • Ensure external candidates receive the Company’s privacy notice for job applicants.
  • Ensure the recruiting line managers complete and return candidate scoring sheets following each interview and retain on file for 6 months.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including written English and an active listener.
  • Well organised with the ability to prioritise, good attention to detail, effective multi-tasking, and time management skills.
  • Client-driven with excellent interpersonal skills and a flexible, approachable and diplomatic approach.
  • Ability to develop collaborative working relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative without supervision.
  • Resilient with the ability to keep calm and work well under pressure.

  • Motivated to make the role their own and achieve high standards.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in all Microsoft Office programmes.
  • Good administrative skills including record keeping.

  • Ability to implement and maintain process in a fast paced and evolving environment.

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Proven experience in an HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience handling employee relations cases.
  • Experienced user of HR systems; experience of Deputy is an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of office equipment.
  • Good working knowledge of record keeping and data protection legislation.
  • Experience of onboarding a new HR system is an advantage.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • CIPD Level 5 or above qualification.
