Description:

This is a very exciting opportunity a growing nationwide business and progress your career in HR. Working for a business within a wider group, this role reports into the Group Head of HR and provides HR and Recruitment support across all departments as well People initiatives and projects. You will work very closely with the business’ leadership team and other stakeholders across the group and will be responsible for leading a small HR team.

Your main responsibilities will include the following;

  • Build strong relationships with the Exec Leadership team, operational and departmental mangers and employees
  • Manage all core HR areas including payroll, ER, recruitment and succession planning, L&D, employee engagement and managing HR systems and processes.
  • Take accountability for HR service delivery for broad based generalist and specialist services through effective leadership of your team
  • Continually review HR policies and ensure ensuring best practice and compliance with regulatory change.

We are looking for candidates with the following;

  • CIPD qualification or equivalent
  • Experience of managing a small team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong independent, strategic and pro-active problem solving abilities
  • Ability to collaborate and build strong with a wide range of personalities at all levels of the business
  • Empathy and compassion and track record in resolving ER matters
