WHAT SKILLS YOU NEED TO BRING WITH YOU:

  • 3-5+ years of well-rounded HR experience (generalist or business partner roles preferred). If you’ve done a little of everything HR related, it would be a great launchpad for you in this role.
  • A bachelor’s degree, ideally with an HR or related focus. SHRM certification would also be preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of HR compliance, employee relations, and full-cycle recruiting - as well as being open to immersing yourself in the business of the business.
  • Exceptional communication skills - you’re easy to talk to, clear, emotionally intelligent, and really invested in the success of the people you support.
  • Curiosity and initiative - you’re the kind of person who sees a challenge and says, “Let’s figure it out.”
  • Superhuman organizational skills - you can juggle priorities without dropping the ball and do it with a smile.
  • Passion for culture and the employee experience - you believe that when people thrive, companies do too.
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms and modern HR tools is a definite plus along with solid technology skills.
Responsibilities
  • Shape the culture every day by nurturing a workplace that’s inclusive, energizing, and rooted in the principles and the success of the business.
  • Be the trusted point of contact for employees and leaders alike - offering support, insight, and a personal touch.
  • Drive employee engagement efforts that spark connection, motivation, and long-term commitment - with the support of your Strategic HR Director.
  • Help recruit top talent by crafting thoughtful job postings, screening with care and culture in mind, and helping hiring managers build strong, diverse teams.
  • Own onboarding like a pro - ensuring every new hire feels confident, connected, and excited from day one - and that everything is handled as they’re welcomed into the fold.
  • Co-develop standout benefits programs that reflect care and competitiveness, while overseeing day-to-day benefits administration.
  • Handle employee relations with empathy, fairness, and clarity, creating a safe space for resolution, feedback, and growth.
  • Answer everyday HR questions from “how do I update my benefits?” to “Can you help me understand this policy” with patience, precision, and empathy.
  • Keep things running smoothly by managing documentation related to FMLA, ADA, Workers’ Comp, VOEs, and more.
  • Collaborate with leadership to offer people smart insights that influence decision-making and organizational development.
  • Continuously improve processes to help make HR even more efficient, engaging, and impactful.
  • All with the support and mentorship of a Strategic HR Director who is invested in your success.
