SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in a senior HR role with strong exposure to disciplinary, grievance, and employment claim processes.
  • Demonstrable experience of preparing for and participating in employment tribunal cases on behalf of a company.
  • Experience managing employee visa processes (preferred).
  • In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and ACAS guidelines.
  • Proficient with HR software (Sage HR preferred) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise under pressure.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience preferred.
  • High levels of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
  • Able to role model the company values of Ownership, Respect, Improvement, and Teamwork.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead on all people-related matters, ensuring compliance, fairness, and consistency across the business. This is a hands-on role, managing day-to-day HR operations while supporting managers in handling complex employee relations issues. The ideal candidate will be confident in managing formal processes from start to finish, including disciplinary cases, grievances, and employment claims, with proven experience of representing a company in tribunal matters.
You will be joining a fast-growing manufacturing business with 120+ employees, with significant expansion planned over the coming years. The role will require adaptability to manage the increasing complexity and scale of our HR needs as the company grows.
