This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join an organisation that is ever growing! this is a Newley created role that reflects the ongoing growth and as such the ideal candidate will have prior experience in HR and recruitment, with a thorough understanding of HR policy and procedures.
The bulk of the role will involve employee orientations, benefits administration, compensation, rewards, driving performance, performance management and conflict resolution, but there is great opportunity for developing and refining systems.
This role will suit a dedicated, dynamic and approchable HR manager who easily connects with people and has a detail-oriented mindset to handle the changing nature of the workforce.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working in HR
  • Detail-oriented and organizational nature
  • Experience working with ELMO a plus
  • Understanding of state and federal HR laws
Responsibilities
  • Supports the leadership team to understand and execute the Group’s human resource and talent strategy
  • Provides support and guidance to management
  • Manages the talent acquisition process,
  • Develops campaigns and initiatives to attract talented professionals to
  • Analyses trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organisation attracts and retains top talent.
  • Facilitates learning and development programs
  • Carry out employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations,
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Identify and recommend areas of improvement
  • Conducts regular performance reviews with team members and their respective managers, managing underperformance, promoting high performance, holding team members accountable to achieving objectives, defining growth opportunities and demonstrating the pathway for career progression.
  • Plan, monitor, and appraise HR activities by proactively engaging the with employees, hearing and resolving employee grievances, training managers to coach and discipline employees, and counselling employees and managers.
  • Maintain the onboarding process, ensuring the process is up to date and of high quality, providing clarity and connection for all employees and their role in relation to the overall vision.
  • Oversees the development and maintenance of the HR information system (ELMO) ensuring it delivers as a quality HR platform for all staff.
  • Handle confidential matters with discretion.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
