ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Implements local reward strategy through development and management of key reward programs in local market Reviews benefits provision, monitoring cost and financial impact of provision and competitiveness of package to market. Projects future funding requirements and works with providers to maximum effectiveness of provision Acts as an expert resource, managing reward delivery in specified areas and providing valuable advice on market practice, integration issues (e.g. mergers and acquisitions) within own area and across the wider HR community Supports in the communication of reward programs both within and outside the HR team Working across the HR function and business, aligns reward program delivery with wider HR and business objectives, ensuring interventions are integrated in a consistent way that supports AZ’s organizational objectives Reviews reward policies, ensuring adherence with global guidance, regulatory, legal and best practice approaches Financially plans and manages budgets for all areas of responsibility required for delivery of reward programs Builds capability within the function to deliver against objectives and build the HR talent pipeline REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree and above, fluent English. Broad knowledge of policies, process and procedures pertaining to pensions, medical insurance, and other significant reward arrangements Necessary people skills to engage and influence major stakeholders and internal clients Wide experience of managing cross-functional projects, preferably with previous knowledge of the AZ Project Management framework Ability to think and plan and manage activity in a structured manner Demonstrates strong data analysis skills and excellent PowerPoint presentation expertise. Desirable Skills/Experience: Post Graduate Qualifications in subject area Prior experience in both consulting firms and in-house Reward is preferred.
