Specialising in sales, servicing, parts, and aftersales support for vans, trucks, and electric commercial vehicles, we offer a complete 'one-stop shop' for all your commercial vehicle needs. At Rossetts, we pride ourselves on exceptional customer service and investing in our people to ensure a consistently high standard of care and professional excellence across our entire team.

We are looking to recruit an experienced HR Manager to lead the HR function across our five locations, comprising four workshop sites and our dedicated Parts Hub in Crawley. Based primarily at Worthing and supported by an HR Assistant, this is a varied and hands-on role working closely with managers and employees across the business.

Role Overview:

The HR Manager is responsible for delivering a comprehensive HR service across Rossetts Commercials, providing practical and commercially focused advice and support to managers throughout the full employee lifecycle.

Alongside the day-to-day HR function, the role is responsible for the administration and organisation of Health & Safety and plays an important part in maintaining HR, H&S and Mercedes-Benz franchise compliance across the business.

· Prepare and maintain contracts of employment, contractual variations, policies and other HR documentation.

· Manage sickness absence and occupational health processes, supporting managers with both short and long-term absence.

· Maintain accurate HR systems and employee records and ensure relevant information is provided to Payroll.

· Coordinate employee training and development requirements, including apprenticeships and mandatory training.

· Support employee engagement activities, including Company-wide employee surveys and resulting action plans.

· Oversee the administration and organisation of Health & Safety across the business, ensuring records, documentation, training and actions are appropriately maintained.

· Coordinate H&S audits and compliance activity, working with site managers to ensure any required actions are completed.

· Support and monitor HR and Health & Safety compliance across all locations, including the maintenance of evidence and documentation required to meet Mercedes-Benz franchise standards.

· Support wider HR projects and initiatives and provide relevant HR information and reporting to senior management.

· Manage, support and develop the HR Assistant.
