Description We have an immediate opening for a Human Resource Manager. This is a full-time, benefit eligible position that is responsible for a wide variety of tasks which include; managing all aspects of the payroll process benefit administration including employee insurance, paid time off, etc. orchestrating the employee orientation and new hire process maintaining employee files, including annual review of employee licensure, required health records and compliance with long-term care regulations manages all aspects of the worker's compensation program assists the Administrator with addressing and resolving employee issues within the facility provides guidance to staff on corporate policy and procedure complies with local, state and federal policies, procedures and regulations general receptionist duties including answering phones, sorting mail, greeting guests serve as the back up to the Business Office Manager as needed, and various other duties as assigned The ideal candidate must display professionalism and always maintain the up-most confidentiality regarding both employee and resident information. Computer experience and the ability and to learn new software program is a must. This person must be dependable, friendly, eager to learn, willing to always help out across departments and possess a desire to serve the senior population. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Knowledge of Human Resources practices and procedures. Dedicated interest in assisting a senior population. Working knowledge of payroll processing. Familiar with bookkeeping practices and procedures. Proficiency with software programs including Microsoft Office Suite and data-driven applications. Working knowledge of employee benefit programs and policies. Proven success in participating within a team structure. History of ethical and professional conduct. Able and willing to take direction from management. Self-directed organizational skills that enhance the ability to manage numerous priorities. Patience and acceptance of constant change in own work environment. Reads, writes, speaks, and understands the English language. Effective communication skills. Responsibilities
