HR Manager/Senior HR Manager Full time or part time, depending on experience Permanent ongoing contract Salary $125,000 to $145,000 exclusive of super (determined based on experience). You’ll play a pivotal part in harnessing our capabilities to help us increase our long-term impact. About the Role This position plays a vital role in shaping the employee experience at the Centre. You will help the Centre to attract and retain the best talent in our field, provide a fulfilling career path for staff, and promote a culture of excellence, inclusion and collaboration. You’ll provide HR leadership, draft employment contracts, coordinate recruitment, lead performance processes, and champion staff wellbeing and professional development. The successful candidate will have considerable HR experience within a similar environment, with a contemporary understanding of best practice HR. Key responsibilities include: HR & Employee Support Provide day-to-day leadership across all HR activities Prepare employment agreements, variations, and contractor documents Lead recruitment for employees Manage onboarding and offboarding for staff and affiliates Act as the first point of contact for HR-related enquiries Ensure staff are aware of wellbeing initiatives, including EAP support Performance & Development Lead the annual performance process (KPI setting, mid-year and end-of-year reviews) Assist in the promotions process Organise professional development programs and training, such as Lunch N’ Learns Work Health & Safety Ensure a safe and compliant workplace in line with the Centre’s WHS framework Monitor and report risks using Riskware Support the COO to maintain the Centre-wide risk management framework What We’re Looking For 7+ years experience in HR Great communication and problem-solving ability A team player who thrives in a collaborative, high-performance environment A passion for supporting people and creating a positive workplace culture While this role is full time, we are open to considering part time arrangements for senior candidates Why Join Us?
