Make this your day

You start the day with a meeting with the HR advisor. Together, you discuss developments within Verano® and what you have noticed in conversations with managers over the past period. Based on this, you determine where extra attention will be focused in the coming period. Think of leadership development, absenteeism management, or talent development.

You work together to develop these points into a plan that you discuss with the management. You indicate what you need and further refine the plan based on their insights.

In the afternoon, you have a progress meeting with one of the HR staff members. You discuss her growth and ambitions and coordinate how you will further realize them together.

At the end of the day, you make another round through production and talk to various employees and managers.

Make this your team

You work in the HR department together with Inge, Anouk, Claudia, and Elly: an enthusiastic team with a passion for HRM and payroll administration. Together, you ensure a pleasant working atmosphere where everyone enjoys working together.

In addition, you work closely with the Board of Directors, managers, and other executives. Your direct point of contact is the General Manager, but you also regularly consult with the CFO and the Production Director.

You are approachable to everyone within the organization, act quickly, and are not afraid to make decisions. In this way, together with your team, you ensure a strong HR policy as well as job satisfaction within the organization.

Furthermore, you have:

• A completed higher professional or university education, preferably in Human Resource Management.
• Five to ten years of demonstrable relevant work experience, of which at least three years in a managerial role.
• Experience with strategic human resource management and change management.
• Knowledge of current laws and regulations.
• An excellent command of the Dutch language and a good command of the English language.
• Excellent social, communication, and writing skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and preferably also with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with HR information and time registration systems, preferably Cobra HRM and ProTime.
