HR Manager Visiting Angels | Eastern Montgomery County Visiting Angels is a leading private-duty home care organization serving seniors and the caregivers who support them. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead our People function and help shape the next phase of our evolution. This is a hands-on leadership role for a high-energy HR professional who enjoys building teams, strengthening culture, and creating scalable HR systems in a fast-paced environment. What You’ll Do Own and lead end-to-end HR operations for caregivers and office staff Supervise and mentor a Recruiter while driving full-cycle, high-volume hiring Build and execute recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention strategies Serve as the primary point of contact for caregiver relations and concerns Partner with leadership on workforce planning, retention, and growth Ensure compliance with employment laws, benefits, FMLA, and Workers’ Compensation Develop SOPs and HR processes that support a growing organization What Success Looks Like Recruit X caregivers per week on average Achieve X%+ retention of newly hired caregivers Strengthen culture, engagement, and operational stability Help build a best-in-class HR function What We’re Looking For 7–10 years of progressive HR experience (recruitment, compliance, benefits) Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws Experience in high-volume hiring environments (healthcare preferred) Confident, ethical, people-centric leader who can balance empathy and accountability Proficiency with ATS, HR systems, and performance management tools Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary plus performance-based bonus Lucrative bonus structure tied to results PTO, healthcare benefits, and Flexible Spending Plan If you’re a driven HR leader who wants ownership, visibility, and real impact—this role is for you.
