Description
The HR Manager will oversee recruitment, payroll, compliance, employee management, HR systems, Zoho recruit ensuring smooth workforce operations across office and construction sites. 1. Recruitment & Hiring Manage end-to-end hiring (site engineers, architects, sales team, admin staff) Conduct interviews and coordinate with department heads Maintain talent pipeline ? 2. Employee Management Handle onboarding, documentation, and exit formalities Maintain employee records and contracts Address employee concerns and grievances ? 3. Payroll & Compliance Manage salary processing, attendance, and leave records Ensure compliance with: ESI PF Labor laws (important for the construction sector) Coordinate with accounts team ? 4. HR Systems & Automation Implement and manage HR processes using: Zoho People Zoho Payroll Maintain attendance, leave tracking, and employee database ?️ 5. Site Workforce Management Manage labor attendance and records Coordinate with site engineers for manpower planning Ensure compliance with safety and labor regulations ? 6. Performance Management Set KPIs for employees Conduct performance reviews Support promotions and appraisals ? 7. Training & Development Identify training needs Organize skill development programs Improve team productivity ? 8. Policy & Documentation Develop HR policies and SOPs Maintain employee handbook Ensure company policies are followed Requirements Required Skills Strong knowledge of HR operations & labour laws Payroll, ESI, PF handling experience Leadership and communication skills Problem-solving and decision-making ability Experience with HR software (Zoho must) Qualifications MBA / Degree in HR or related field Experience: 5–10 years (construction/real estate preferred) Preferred Experience Experience in construction or project-based companies Knowledge of statutory compliance (ESI, PF, labour laws) Experience implementing HR systems
