Key Media is looking for a friendly, proactive HR Advisor & Office Manager to join us for a 1-year contract (maternity leave cover). What you’ll be doing
You’ll be the go-to person for all things HR and office-related for our teams in Canada, the US, and the UK. From employee relations and onboarding to performance management, talent development, and DEI initiatives, you’ll help create an environment where everyone can thrive. You’ll also keep our Toronto office buzzing with energy, organizing team events, supporting a positive culture, and making sure everything runs smoothly.

How you will work

  • You’ll spend at least three days each week in our downtown Toronto office (the rest can be remote). If you’re nearby, that’s a big plus!
  • This is a fixed-term (one year contract) role, perfect if you’re looking for a meaningful challenge and a chance to make your mark.
  • We welcome both full-time (Monday–Friday) and part-time (Monday–Thursday) applicants.

What you’ll bring

  • At least 3 years’ experience in HR
  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian employment law (bonus points for US/UK experience)
  • Great communication, organizational, and people skills
  • A vibrant personality and a good sense of humor
  • Independence and initiative - you’ll report into a manager in Sydney, Australia, and occasionally join evening calls with our global team
  • A passion for creating a welcoming, inclusive, and high-energy workplace
