JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR professional with a solid background in engineering consultancy and contracting environments to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring 7–8 years of hands-on HR experience, demonstrating a strong understanding of the unique demands of engineering and construction projects, including both office-based and site operations.
This role will act as a strategic partner to management, ensuring that HR initiatives align with business goals while fostering a productive, compliant, and positive work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or HR certifications preferred).
  • 7–8 years of progressive HR experience in consultant and contractor engineering environments.
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws, employment regulations, and project HR compliance in the engineering/construction sector.
  • Experience managing HR for both office and project site staff.
  • Proven experience in fast-paced, project-based environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience working in EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) or similar engineering project delivery frameworks.
  • Familiarity with international workforce management and cross-border HR coordination.
  • Working knowledge of HRIS systems and digital tools for employee lifecycle management.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with company objectives and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for technical and non-technical roles, including talent sourcing for project-based needs.
  • Provide support in manpower planning, mobilization, and demobilization strategies across project sites.
  • Partner with department heads to understand workforce requirements and provide HR solutions for resource allocation and retention.
  • Oversee onboarding, induction, and training programs tailored for engineering and site staff.
  • Administer compensation, benefits, and payroll coordination, ensuring compliance with labour laws and project-specific agreements.
  • Handle employee relations matters, disciplinary actions, and grievance resolutions professionally and confidentially.
  • Monitor and manage HR metrics, reporting regularly on staff turnover, engagement, and workforce productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, industry regulations, and client-specific HR requirements, especially on-site.
  • Contribute to the development of performance management frameworks and career development plans.
  • Act as a liaison between project sites and head office to align HR practices and resolve workforce issues promptly.
