Job Title: Human Resources Officer
Location: Omagh
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm)
Salary: £30,000-£35,000- depending on experience.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development qualification
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Experience of working in Human Resources

Responsibilities
  • Liaise with ELC Consultancy on behalf of the organisation on Human Resource and employee relations issues.
  • Manage Fair Employment documentation for the Equality Commission, filling in the annual Fair Employment return, dealing with queries from Equality Commission staff and completing the Triennial review.
  • Assist with the management of disciplinary and grievance procedures and employee relations within the organisation including employee tribunals and liaising with Labour Relations Agency.
  • Co-ordination of appraisals for all employees within the organisation.
  • Management of employee records and liaising with staff on a regular basis to update information.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection of staff for the organisation including Fair Employment Monitoring
  • Design, delivery and facilitation of training courses for staff. Organise training and professional development for staff using external training providers.
  • Assisting pharmacy managers and supervisors in understanding and implementing policies and procedures.
  • Liaise will all staff when necessary on personnel management issues offering support and advise.
  • Promoting fair employment and equality of opportunity within the organisation.
  • Informing and advising management on legislative responsibilities.
  • Undertake training courses and professional development e.g. Equality Commission courses.
  • Offer assistance and advise on various aspects of health and safety to staff
