Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

This newly created, part-time position is ideal for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a hands-on, generalist role. You will work closely with the Management Heads to deliver HR services that are aligned with business objectives, ensuring compliance, promoting a positive culture, and supporting day-to-day people operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the primary HR contact for all internal staff queries and matters.
  • Manage and maintain HR policies, employee files, and compliance procedures.
  • Support recruitment: drafting job descriptions, coordinating interviews, and onboarding new starters.
  • Lead on performance reviews, absence tracking, and disciplinary processes where needed.
  • Foster and uphold a strong, supportive company culture through initiatives and feedback loops.
  • Maintain and update employment contracts, handbook, and documentation in line with UK employment law.
  • Liaise with external payroll providers as needed and maintain accurate HR records.
  • Monitor and improve internal communication and employee engagement.
  • Recommend and implement best practices in people management and organisational development.
