JOB SUMMARY

A non-profit in Brocton is seeking a driven HYBRID onboarding specialist to support their HR/TA team in a contract for the next 3 months. This position plays a critical role in shaping the employee experience from the moment a new hire joins the organization. As the onboarding specialist, you will come in and start taking on the onboarding administrative work to get people from accepted offer to start date. You will collaborate with various departments to enhance employee relations and support talent management initiatives. ADP WFN is highly preferred.

SKILLS

  • At least 1 year of onboarding experience.
  • HRIS experience, preferably ADP WFN.
  • Proficiency in employee orientation processes and talent management techniques.
  • Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a knack for engaging new employees.
Responsibilities
  • Design and execute comprehensive onboarding programs tailored to different roles within the organization.
  • Facilitate employee orientation sessions, introducing new hires to company policies, culture, and values.
  • Collaborate with HR teams to manage recruiting processes, including internal recruiting efforts and contract negotiations.
  • Utilize HRIS and ATS systems to track onboarding progress and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Develop relationships with new employees to ensure a positive onboarding experience and address any concerns.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure all necessary resources are available for new hires.
  • Implement feedback mechanisms to continuously improve the onboarding process based on employee experiences.
  • Support talent management initiatives by identifying training needs and opportunities for professional development.
