Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day activities of the HR function and supervise assigned HR team members.
  • Develop, review and implement HR policies, procedures, SOPs, guidelines and standard forms.
  • Identify gaps in existing HR processes and recommend practical improvements and controls.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with applicable UAE employment requirements and approved Company policies.
  • Manage recruitment activities for approved vacancies, including job posting, screening, interview coordination, offers and recruitment tracking.
  • Support manpower planning and maintain accurate organisation charts, headcount records and job descriptions.
  • Coordinate onboarding, probation reviews, employee transfers, contract renewals and offboarding processes.
  • Lead probation, mid-year and annual performance evaluation cycles.
  • Work with department heads to develop clear and measurable employee and departmental KPIs.
  • Review performance evaluations for completeness, consistency and supporting evidence.
  • Coordinate performance improvement plans and follow up on agreed actions.
  • Support the development and maintenance of salary structures, job grades and salary ranges.
  • Review salary proposals for new hires, promotions and internal transfers against approved structures and internal equity.
  • Verify payroll inputs, including attendance, leave, overtime, allowances, deductions, new joiners, leavers and approved salary changes.
  • Oversee attendance, leave administration, employee records and HR documentation.
  • Handle employee relations matters, complaints, investigations and disciplinary processes.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly HR reports covering headcount, recruitment, probation, attendance, evaluations, employee movements and outstanding actions.
  • Maintain accurate employee data and HR transactions through Odoo.
  • Review Odoo HR workflows and coordinate system improvements, testing and reporting requirements with the ERP team.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling employee, salary and performance information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 - 10 years of progressive HR experience, including experience leading or coordinating an HR function.
  • Strong hands-on experience using Odoo HR modules is required.
  • Practical experience with Odoo recruitment, employee records, attendance, leave, appraisals and HR reporting.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of salary structures, job grading, payroll controls and compensation reviews.
  • Practical experience leading performance evaluations and developing measurable KPIs.
  • Good knowledge of UAE employment practices and HR compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, reporting and communication skills.
  • High level of professional integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, aerospace or another technical environment is preferred.
  • CIPD, SHRM or an equivalent professional HR qualification is an advantage.
