THE ROLE As an Indie Campers HR Operations Associate - APAC, you will assist in the daily functions of the People team particularly in aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business unit/s, providing daily HR policy guidance and compliance measures, resolving employee relations issues/grievances, and promoting safe and health workplace and employer-employee relationship, welfare and engagement across the APAC region. You will be based out in the Manila office and will be reporting directly to the Head of People. WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON? Support full, end-to-end employee life cycle for Australia and New Zealand operations, and Manila HQ Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource initiatives including but not limited to improving work relationships, building morale, and increasing work productivity and talent retention Maintain relevant employee and employer records compliances/updates Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance Maintain employee personnel records and relevant employee and employer statutory updates Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with business unit/s to develop solutions, programs and policies Create employee welfare and engagement plans, getting necessary budget approval and initiating activities and/or relevant policies Maintain knowledge of labor law updates, market trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in employee relations capacity Perform ad hoc duties, as necessary WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management and/or any relevant field Excellent verbal and written English communication skills 5+ years experience as HR Generalist or HRBP mid-to-senior level or equivalent role in a regional or global ops work environment and/or shared services capacity; travel industry and/or start-up experience preferred Demonstrable experience in managing employee grievance and labor legislation Nice to have if with payroll, C&B knowledge/exposure Highly skilled in G-suite, MS Office and other office tools Strong organizational, attention to detail and interpersonal skills Strong ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Are you ready to Go Indie?
Responsibilities
