JOB DESCRIPTION
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to expand their experience in HR Operations, with a focus on project delivery, innovation and data analysis.
You will be joining a friendly and high-performance team. The purpose of the role is to support on various ICS HR Operations innovation projects and other BAU activities to improve the services we deliver for our customers in a project working approach.
Reporting to the ICS HR Operations Innovation Lead, you will be part of a small, friendly team in the ICS HR Operations and Services space. The work of the team sits at the heart of the HR function and is very much the ‘engine room’ of the directorate. We work closely with our Shared Services provider UK SBS and My CSP on pay and pensions, continuous improvement initiatives and change projects respectively.
This role focuses on delivering results and requires strong attention to detail, it requires you to be confidence at sharing ideas and working from a ‘blank sheet’. You will support continuous improvement initiatives across various HR Operations and people practice projects in an agile environment.
You will manage your own work using project management methodologies and tools. If you have excellent written and presentation skills, are data driven, innovative and can think outside the box, and are great with stakeholders and customers, then this role could be for you. This role offers valuable insight into HR operations job family and the chance to participate in Continuous Improvement and Innovation projects across ICS HR, business functions, and the Civil Service. You will develop good project management skills and will be skilled at engaging stakeholders and influencing them.
This role will be a key level of support on delivering project and implementing output of projects with targeted and controlled timelines. You will work with stakeholders in HR and across functions.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Good knowledge of PowerPoint – being able to present information in an attractive and engaging way while keeping it simple and to the point

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will be required to support the following key projects/work packages simultaneously and others as required:
You will manage the post Machinery of Government (MOG) Changes Staff Right to Work verification exercise. You will respond to related queries and support staff during roll-out and adoption.
You will analyse over-payment and emergency payments data to provide data driven insights for the ICS HR Innovation and Service team to enhance service provision. You will prepare for and lead the quarterly overpayment meetings with the Deputy Director of HR Operations, providing the data analysis, insight and the impact of actions taken to reduce overpayments.
You will work collaboratively with ICS Business Management Office to help with HR innovation project reporting and the readiness in HR function to change required when the Matrix (Workday) goes live.
You will support Users Acceptance Testing to promote the improvement work while at the same time listening to feedback and thinking about ways to continuously improve the employee experience for all aspects of people services and to reduce resistance to change initiatives.
You can expect to lead and manage your own work and projects in line with business objectives. You will manage senior stakeholders internally and externally in delivering these goals within targeted timelines.
