DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS

Lenovo is seeking a skilled HR Operations Specialist for Australia and New Zealand. You will be part of a great team, and will be involved in all Employee Life Cycle matters.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Handle and maintain employment and employee data records/ documentation/ reporting. Safeguard data accuracy of new hires, internal transfers and exits. Ensure compliance with (updates of) government and compliance requirements. Manage the work permit and visa process.
  • Administer HR policies/ Site Benefits programs and payments in collaboration with HR COE’s and Payroll.
  • Coordinate onboarding of employees and facilitate HR Induction.
  • Answer stakeholder inquiries regarding Employee Life Cycle in collaboration with HR Support/ HR COE’s/ HRP’s where needed.
  • Process optimization: identify challenges and recommend/ implement solutions, and deliver against service level agreements.
  • Learning & Development: assist the L&D COE and HRP in logistics to enable training program delivery.
  • Support Employee All Hands, Engagement, CSR, ESG Events, and Site Committee initiatives.
  • Lead CSR and ESG site projects
  • Assist in labor audits and inspections. Monitor office attendance and working hours (incl. overtime compliance).
  • Actively contribute to DE&I, Well-Being, and Recognition initiatives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • 4+ years of HR experience.
  • Proven track record of delivering HR operations support and implement process improvements.
  • Proficiency in HR tools and systems and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of employee and labor relations in Australia and New Zealand.
