Description Primary Objectives of the Position: This position will focus on the daily administrative and operational aspects of human resources. Supporting the entire employee life cycle across various human resource processes including workforce administration, records maintenance, payroll and benefits, employee experience and fostering positive employee relations. Major Areas of Accountability: Maintain accurate employee records and conduct regular HRIS audits. Establish procedures for timekeeping records, timesheet approvals, identify and correct errors. Process bi-weekly payroll and post journal entries to the general ledger. Administer and monitor child and medical support orders and payroll garnishment compliance. Assist with recruitment and retention of cooperative’s temporary, seasonal workforce. Coordinate new hire onboarding with department supervisors and safety team. Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and HRIS-related support. Have general knowledge of the cooperative’s benefit package and incentive programs. Lead and administer the cooperative’s employee clothing program. Recruit for culture committee members, organize meetings, meeting minutes, and coordinate activities along with the HR/Communications team. Contribute to HR initiatives that improve internal processes and policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Salary: $60,000-$80,000 While a salary range has been established for this role, the final compensation package will be tailored to the individual's level of experience and expertise. Requirements Basic Qualifications: • 1-3 years of human resources or payroll experience. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. • Strong communications, organizational, and people skills. • Elevated level of discretion, integrity and professionalism when managing sensitive information. • This position is ideal for someone that works extremely well individually and in a team setting. Value-Added Qualifications: • Post-secondary education in human resources, business administration or an agricultural field; or HR certification SHRM-CP beneficial. • Previous experience with payroll and HRIS systems; experience with Paylocity is a plus. • General knowledge of employment labor and payroll laws. • Cooperative experience or agricultural background is helpful.
