Description

Hey you! Are you full of amazing HR knowledge but feel like you’re missing the opportunity to build, make a difference and have a lot of fun? Then we have the role for you! We are looking for an HR Partner who wants to take responsibility for the HR operation in Finland – and at the same time contribute to creating magic for our employees, our customers, and Lyko as a whole. Are you ready to roll up your sleeves, are prestigeless, and want to leave your mark on HR at Lyko in Finland? Then let’s connect!
In the Finnish market, Lyko have reached a new level. Once relatively unknown, we are now a strong challenger, driven by our belief that ‘Beauty should be fun.’ Now, we’re continuing to grow, and as HR, you’ll have a key role and significant influence on that journey.
What does the role involve?
As an HR Partner at Lyko, you’ll be in charge of all HR matters for both our office and retail employees in Finland. Yes, all of them! Of course, you’ll have the support and framework from our central HR team in Sweden, but you’ll be our local expert, making sure that “HR the Lyko way” is aligned with the Finnish market and that we comply with local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Implementing and adapting central HR processes for the Finnish market. You’ll make sure managers have the tools and knowledge to understand and apply these processes, and you’ll also ensure they’re accessible – and sometimes translated – into the local language.
Reviewing and ensuring that policies and routines are in place for both office and retail employees.
Owning and driving what we call “the HR Foundation”: labor law, work environment, and rehabilitation. You’ll work closely with managers on personnel-related matters and cases, while staying updated on new laws, regulations, and collective agreements.
Managing payroll coordination and be the main contact for our external payroll provider. You’ll make sure documentation, reporting, and the collaboration run smoothly. You’ll also handle employee and manager questions about things like vacation, sick leave, parental leave, and other payroll-related topics.
Keeping track of KPIs and metric, both in our BI system and our pulse survey tool, where we regularly measure engagement and analyze organizational trends. You understand what it means to have a balance between head and heart. Which means that you find a lot of insights in data but that the work is also done within the relationships between people.
Handling pre-, on-, and offboarding processes.
Joining internal projects, such as those focused on well-being or diversity, inclusion, and equity.
Helping out with day-to-day tasks at the office (because we’re a small team!). This could be anything from mail handling, restocking supplies, and purchases to managing keys and planning events. As a key player in the office, you’ll set up routines for daily operations while helping foster and evolve our amazing culture.
Who are you? ✨
We’re looking for someone who’s ready to join us on a journey where change and growth are constant companions. If there’s one thing we’re sure of at Lyko, it’s that we’re always evolving – so you’ll need to thrive in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment.
What matters most to us are your personal traits. We believe you’re a hands-on, driven, and solutions-oriented. Did we mention prestigeless? because we really mean it. You’re someone who can confidently bulid strong relations and trust within the organization. You have a problem solving mindset with the ability to move between bigger and smaller tasks with ease – like teaming up with the Country Manager on organizational challenges – while also rolling up your sleeves for the nitty-gritty tasks. For example, if we decide to open a new store and need 20 employment contracts for brand-new colleagues, you’ll jump right in and make it happen

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, WE BELIEVE YOU HAVE :

Broad experience in HR work, preferably covering both office and retail environments.
Strong knowledge of Finnish labor laws and experience managing HR processes in Finland.
Experience working with external payroll providers and handling documentation, reporting, and payroll-related systems
A university degree in HR, personnel management, or a related field.
A data-driven, structured working style combined with a creative approach to problem-solving.
A knack for building relationships, spreading positive energy, and contributing to an inclusive company culture.
