HR/PAYROLL COORDINATOR

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented HR/Payroll Coordinator to manage human resources processes and payroll functions for our facility. This role is critical in supporting our employees, ensuring accurate and timely payroll, and maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field preferred.
  • Previous HR and payroll experience in healthcare or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of payroll systems and HR software.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and confidentiality requirements.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
  • Process biweekly payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with wage and hour laws.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, benefits enrollment, and licensing/certification tracking.
  • Assist with employee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes.
  • Support managers with recruitment, job postings, and scheduling interviews.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws and company policies.
  • Coordinate and process benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Track and report employee leave, PTO, and attendance.
