QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in HR and payroll management.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll software (Unipay), Google and MS Office Suite.
  • In-depth understanding of labour laws, tax regulations, and best practices in payroll administration.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payroll for all employees.
  • Administer benefits, deductions, and taxes, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity in HR systems.
  • Manage onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Advise managers and staff on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements.
  • Provide reports on payroll data, headcount, and other HR metrics to management.
  • Work with external vendors and auditors to ensure smooth payroll audits and tax filings.
  • Assist with recruitment, training, and performance management as needed.
