Your New Role
As HR & Payroll Manager, you will manage across the full range of HR activity, from recruitment, employee relations, end to end payroll, process improvement and general HR administration, across the full employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and measure HR strategy of increasing employee engagement, productivity and retention
- Act as the first point of contact for HR advice, ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Support with investigations, disciplinary, performance, and absence management.
- Process weekly payroll and pensions administration.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including new starter inductions.
- Maintain and improve HR systems.
- Monitoring attendance, sickness, holidays & general employee performance
- Develop and report on HR metrics, including gender pay gap and absence data.
- Maintain accurate HR records and reporting using the company’s HR systems
- Support health and wellbeing programmes, learning & development
What You Will Need
- Proven experience in a HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor role, ideally in manufacturing
- CIPD Level 3 qualified minimum.
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience, with at least 1 year in a management role.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, policies, and HR systems.
- Proficient in Sage Payroll.
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels
