The Details: Wage: $68,000 - 78,000, salaried non-exempt. The wage offered will depend on relevant education and/or years of experience. Work Hours and Location: This position is eligible for flexible work hours between the hours of 7am - 6pm and working from home is an one to two days a week. What You’ll Do Deliver Payroll & Benefits with precision processing monthly payroll, managing benefit deductions, retirement contributions, and vendor submissions with care. Maintain and optimize the HR Information System (HRIS) to deliver accurate employee data, insightful reporting, and seamless compliance. Advise Leaves of Absence (LOA) to ensure every case is handled with accuracy and compassion. Lead compliance by keeping HR and payroll practices and policies current and compliant with evolving legal standards and best practices. Support the Employee Lifecycle through crafting and maintaining job descriptions, oversee onboarding and offboarding with precision, track performance reviews, send employment agreements, and review exit interviews. Collaborate on HR Initiatives with the Director of HR to shape hiring, retention, and employee well-being strategies. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality. Ability to work collaboratively across departments. Pass required background checks. Preferred: 2+ years of experience in HR operations, payroll, or HRIS management. Experience with Paylocity or similar HRIS platforms. Familiarity with payroll processing and benefits administration. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, related field, or equivalent experience. Experience in an education or non-profit setting. A desire to work with individuals from diverse cultures and experiences. A commitment to ongoing professional development.
