JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR & People Operations Coordinator to join our in-office team based in Manchester. You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day HR function while ensuring payments and operational support for both remote international staff and in-house UK employees are managed smoothly.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • 2+ years’ experience in HR, Payroll, or People Operations.
  • Experience managing payroll for UK and international employees or contractors.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organised and confident working in a structured environment.
  • Discreet, trustworthy, and comfortable handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities
  • Process and manage payments for both UK-based and remote international staff.
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts: posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and preparing contracts.
  • Handle onboarding and offboarding processes including documentation, payroll setup, and asset coordination.
  • Maintain and update HR records, contracts, and employee documentation.
  • Monitor probation periods, performance cycles, and staff attendance records.
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment law and GDPR.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for internal HR queries.
  • Support the rollout and enforcement of company policies and SOPs.
  • Maintain time-off tracking, holiday allowances, and leave reports.
