JOB PROFILE TITLE: HR/People Operations Placement SALARY: £21,800 - £24,800 JOB PROFILE DESCRIPTION MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE BUSINESS: As a HR Placement within the People Operations team in Kainos, you will spend your year learning about the People Operations function in a fast-paced, challenging PLC environment. You’ll have support and mentoring, balanced with the experience of being given meaningful work to do to help you truly develop both technically and professionally. You’ll perform a wide variety of HR tasks which will include, but is not limited to, the following duties: Support the Kainos people Team in all areas of their work Deal competently with internal and external support queries, resolving them in a timely manner & seeking support from the team as required Participate in project work as directed Co-ordinate all People Operations administration for the full employee life cycle General department administration including preparation of communications, presentations and the maintenance of spreadsheets, reports and ongoing maintenance of HRIS Providing a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers Providing support to the People Operations management team as required MINIMUM (ESSENTIAL) REQUIREMENTS: Currently studying HR, business or relevant degree Capable of working with limited supervision You apply all relevant standards and procedures to your own work You comply with confidentiality and non-disclosure policies and/or agreements and always ensure security of information We are a customer focused business, we need a credible, professional person with strong communication skills Strong teamwork skills We pride ourselves in doing our best and delivering to a high standard, so attention to detail is required You have a flexible, “can do” attitude, with the ability to manage your own time and enthusiastic to learn THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE APPLYING: Working Arrangements: This role is hybrid. Responsibilities
The placement will involve learning the People Operations function within a fast-paced PLC environment, supporting the People Team in all areas of their work and handling internal/external support queries. Duties include participating in project work, coordinating People Operations administration for the full employee life cycle, and maintaining HRIS records.
