Description:
This role sits within the Digital HR Experience function, supporting all HR Teams globally in identifying and delivering opportunities to optimize HR processes through the implementation of AI and automation solutions. Focusing on building more centralized, automated, scalable, and efficient processes, you will work closely with HR Centres of Excellence (CoE’s), GBS (Global Business Services), and HRIT partners to identify issues, gather requirements, and deliver automation use cases that drive meaningful outcomes for both HR and the business.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Become a key Digital HR partner for the application of innovative technologies.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and maintain a pipeline of automation use cases, both continual improvement delivery & major transformational activities, prioritizing initiatives based on business impact, scalability, and feasibility.
- Lead idea generation activities to assess where automation and AI could deliver efficiencies and experience gains.
- Work in partnership with CoE, GBS, HRIT, and Digital HR stakeholders to deliver prioritized automation cases.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate configuration of automation solutions (e.g., automated workflows, AI-driven capabilities).
- Ensure all current and future automation solutions align with data protection standards, employee agreements, and local regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, Works Council approval).
- Take an employee-centric approach to design, ensuring automation solutions meet employee and manager needs without adding unnecessary complexity.
- Advocate for a centralized automation-first approach, ensuring process optimization supports simplified workflows and repeatable outcomes.
- Champion an iterative, agile approach to implementing and refining automation solutions, ensuring long-term scalability and benefits.
- Continuously assess new technologies, applications, and tools in the market, identifying possibilities to drive additional efficiencies in HR.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- 2-3 years of experience working in roles focused on process improvement, automation delivery, or AI-driven optimization, ideally within HR or business services teams.
- Strong knowledge of process design and improvement, with a track record of identifying inefficiencies and implementing optimized workflows.
- Experience developing automation use cases.
- Proven track record to work collaboratively with functional stakeholders, automation technical teams, and change management partners to deliver efficient solutions.
- Strong project execution skills, with experience leading delivery of process improvements through automation tools.
- Ability to engage and partner with stakeholders to gain agreement, set shared goals, and deliver end-to-end process change.
- Results-oriented and process-focused approach, driving automation to solve real-world inefficiencies and enable seamless processes.
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to track, measure, and evaluate the impact of process optimization initiatives.
- Degree or equivalent experience in Process Automation, Digital Improvement, or HR Transformation.
DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR) and best practices for handling sensitive HR data.
- Familiarity with HR systems (like Workday) and a strong understanding of process flows across HR functions (e.g., talent acquisition, onboarding, or compensation).
