OVERVIEW

Seeking an experienced Human Resources Workstream Lead to manage all HR-related activities associated with a major plant launch. This role requires a blend of strategic leadership, hands-on execution, and strong collaboration across multiple functions. The ideal candidate will bring deep HR expertise within manufacturing or industrial environments, with a proven ability to guide complex, fast-paced projects from planning to execution.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with leadership roles in manufacturing or industrial settings preferred
  • Demonstrated success leading HR workstreams for large-scale capital projects or plant launches
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements
  • Proven project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive alignment across cross-functional teams

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the HR lead within the plant build-out project team
  • Develop and oversee HR project plans, milestones, and deliverables
  • Act as the primary liaison between HR, operations, and program management teams
  • Define staffing models and hiring timelines in partnership with operations leadership
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to source, onboard, and train plant personnel
  • Support leadership hiring and organizational structure design
  • Develop site-specific HR policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks
  • Ensure alignment with corporate standards and local labor laws
  • Collaborate with safety, EHS, and labor relations contacts to ensure readiness
  • Lead culture-building initiatives aligned with organizational values
  • Support change management efforts during launch and scale-up phases
  • Drive leadership alignment and employee engagement strategies
  • Coordinate HRIS setup and integration for the new site
  • Ensure readiness of payroll, timekeeping, and benefits systems
  • Support the establishment of training and development infrastructure
