YOUR PROFILE:

  • Educational and Professional Background: University degree in Human Resources Management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with 2-5 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Technical Skills and Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft tools, especially Excel, along with experience using recruitment software and tools; ability to analyze market data and people analytics to create insightful, data-driven reports.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and Portuguese; knowledge of German is a plus.
  • Personal Attributes: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, a proactive “can-do” attitude, independence, and a continuous learner mindset.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication abilities with a talent for building strong relationships in a dynamic, international setting.

Responsibilities

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

As part of our expansion, we are launching a new development site in Albergaria-a-Velha, Portugal, in summer 2025. We are looking for an HR Recruiter (m/f/d) who will play a key role in setting up the HR function from the ground up. In this role, you will start with a “blank slate,” developing new processes and adapting existing ones from Germany to meet the needs of our new location in Portugal.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: Build and execute the entire recruitment process for various departments, including sourcing, headhunting, pipeline development, and innovative sourcing campaigns, with a strong focus on the industrial environment.
  • Process Development and Site Setup: Create and adapt HR processes, leveraging best practices from Germany to establish effective workflows tailored to the new site’s requirements.
  • Relationship Management and Onboarding: Shape a positive candidate experience, foster strong relationships with internal hiring managers, lead onboarding sessions, and provide continuous support for new employees from day one.
  • Employer Branding and Talent Attraction: Participate in employer branding initiatives such as job fairs and partnerships with technical schools to enhance visibility and attractiveness as an employer in Portugal.
  • Project Work and Employee Engagement: Contribute to HR projects focused on process improvement and initiatives to boost employee engagement and retention.
