PAY RATE: $17.00.HR

Paper Alternative Solutions (PAS), a certified Women’s Business Enterprise founded in 2011, is seeking to fill a Part Time position for a Human Resources Recruiter to facilitate the delivery of HR services in support of our data entry operations. PAS serves accounts nationwide and has operations facilities located in central New York.

JOB SUMMARY

The Recruiter will work under the direction of the Program Manager to implement effective recruiting plans to source, attract, and hire a diverse pool of qualified, capable talent and then onboard those employees. Additionally, the Recruiter will respond to human resources related inquiries from employees. This position is a part-time position located at our operations center at the Huron Campus in Endicott, NY.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma required.
  • College degree or HR Recruiting experience desired.
  • At least three years’ experience working in an office environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software and must be comfortable with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Google Drive. Familiarity with Teams and Zoom a plus.
  • Previous human resources or talent acquisition experience desired, but not required

Responsibilities
  • Implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the needs of the organization.
  • Places position ads in all approved advertising channels and regularly validates accuracy and placement of postings.
  • Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Proofreads job descriptions and postings.
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates for further virtual or on-site interviews.
  • Coordinates interview schedules with hiring managers.
  • Maintains data of recruiting process steps to determine the effectiveness of current recruiting plans and programs.
  • Recommends new sources for active candidate recruiting channels.
  • Maintains relationships with regional state and federal Departments of Labor to keep apprised of all relevant tools and services available to assist businesses in workforce recruitment.
  • Administers new employee onboarding.
  • Respond to human resource related inquiries from employees.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
