Description HR Recruiter (Part-Time) Organization: Paper Alternative Solutions (PAS) Location: Albany, NY (On-site at Client Operations Center) Compensation: $25.00/hour Schedule: 20 Hours/week (Days/Times TBD) About Paper Alternative Solutions (PAS) Founded in 2011 and a certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE), PAS provides specialized HR services nationwide. We are currently seeking a dedicated HR Recruiter to support our client’s child support collections contract in Albany, New York. This role is vital in ensuring the delivery of high-quality talent and maintaining seamless operations. Role Summary Reporting to the Program Manager, the HR Recruiter will execute strategic recruiting plans to source, attract, and hire a diverse pool of qualified talent. Beyond talent acquisition, this role serves as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries and oversees the comprehensive onboarding process for new hires. Primary Responsibilities Talent Acquisition: Implement efficient recruiting strategies to meet organizational needs; manage the end-to-end job posting process across approved channels. Candidate Management: Screen applications, conduct initial assessments, and coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers. Onboarding: Facilitate the transition of new hires by administering professional onboarding and orientation programs. Quality Control: Proofread job descriptions for accuracy and regularly validate the performance of external job postings. Strategic Sourcing: Identify and recommend new candidate sources; maintain active relationships with regional, state, and federal Departments of Labor to leverage workforce tools. HR Support: Serve as a resource for current employees by responding to HR-related inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality. Compliance: Ensure all recruitment and HR activities comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities. Work Ethic: Proactive, independent, and capable of taking initiative in a fast-paced environment. Organization: Proven time-management skills with a strict adherence to deadlines. Technical Proficiency: Highly comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms (Teams/Zoom) is preferred. Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a professional office environment. Previous experience in HR or Talent Acquisition is a significant plus. Education & Requirements High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field preferred. Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
