We are looking for an experienced Aviation Professional who holds a current and valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license to join our dedicated and experience team who are proud to provide reliability rate and high standards of safety while provide essential services to our BC communities.
The position is responsible for performing and certifying both heavy and line maintenance on company aircraft.
In addition, you will be required to be a role model and provide direction and leadership for apprentice engineers; the attention to detail and safety while carrying out your duties will be of the utmost importance.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Understanding of the Canadian Aviation Regulations as it pertains to an AME.
  • Positive attitude with strong work ethic
  • Flexibility with work schedules
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with the Internet
  • Good communication with ability to give clear direction.
  • Good understanding of the English Language with the ability to read, understand and follow instructions contained within Aircraft Manuals and Publications as it relates to Aircraft Maintenance.

Responsibilities

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY

Reporting to the Human Resources (HR) Manager the Recruitment Coordinator works closely with managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the Company’s needs for every role to meet hiring goals and expectations. Managing the full recruiting cycle, the recruitment coordinator helps managers to find, hire, and retain quality candidates; being responsible to design, refine and implement recruitment strategies by utilizing job boards, social networking, and employment platforms.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITY

The Recruitment Coordinator is responsible to the HR Manager and must have thorough knowledge of HR best practices and innovative ideas. The recruitment coordinator manages the full recruitment cycle, ensuring the Company meets the staff requirements.

Recruitment and Selection

  • Understand the benefits plan, Employee and Family Assistant Program and other benefits offered to employees by the Company.
  • Assist candidates and employees with benefits information and answer employee questions.
  • Interpret compensation policies for managers, supervisors, and employees.
  • Monitor the Company wage and salary structures.
  • Monitor best practices in compensation and benefits.
