We’re now seeking an experienced HR / Recruitment Manager to lead and manage our internal recruitment strategy, workforce planning, and HR operations.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience in HR and recruitment, ideally within the construction or engineering sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law, HR compliance, and visa sponsorship duties.
  • Proven track record of hiring in high-volume, specialist, and skilled trade roles.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in HR systems and applicant tracking software.
  • CIPD Level 5 or higher (or international equivalent).
  • Experience managing Skilled Worker sponsor licence processes and audits.
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

As an HR / Recruitment Manager, you will take ownership of our end-to-end recruitment and HR function, ensuring NeoBuild attracts, retains, and supports a skilled, diverse, and compliant workforce. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our internal HR policies, overseeing recruitment pipelines (including Skilled Worker visa management), and driving employee engagement and development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the full recruitment cycle for trade, technical, and corporate roles.
  • Develop workforce planning strategies to support project and business growth.
  • Manage Skilled Worker sponsorship compliance, right-to-work checks, and visa timelines.
  • Oversee onboarding, employee relations, and retention programs.
  • Maintain and implement HR policies and procedures in line with employment law.
  • Liaise with department heads and site managers to forecast staffing needs.
  • Support the development of apprenticeship, training, and upskilling programs.
  • Promote diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing across the organisation.
  • Maintain HR systems, employee records, and performance review processes.
