POSITION OVERVIEW

IAF is looking for a Human Resources Advisor who enjoys a mix of strategic thinking and day-to-day execution. In this role, you’ll support everything from recruitment and onboarding to policy development, performance management, and employee engagement. This position is hybrid working out of IAF’s Victoria office. It is a full-time permanent position, 37.5 hrs per week. The salary range is $72,000-$87,000.

Responsibilities
  • Provide HR administrative support such as employee file management using MS Outlook, ADP, and SharePoint applications
  • Recommend and assist in the creation of and manage updates of IAF HR policies, procedures and programs supporting IAF’s culture, values and mandate
  • Manage benefits enrolment and answering related questions from employees
  • Assist hiring managers through the full-cycle recruitment process
  • Complete onboarding tasks for staff, contractors and Board such as orientations, collecting new hire paperwork, and being a resource regarding employment information
  • Recommend and support professional development framing and logistics for staff, contractors and Board
  • Support leadership team with discipline and PIP discussions
  • Collaborate and action items with HR functions, initiatives, projects, and processes (cross-functional)
