HR Service Center Specialist (Human Resources)
The HR Service Center Specialist plays a key role in supporting the Human Resources function by managing a wide range of HR operational tasks. This includes responding to employee inquiries, processing personnel actions (including terminations), creating SOPs, and leading process improvement initiatives. The specialist also handles complex onboarding processes-particularly for providers-and conducts post-employment verifications, including license and certification reviews.
This role collaborates closely with HR team members, department managers, legal, payroll, and external vendors to ensure compliance and a seamless onboarding experience for new hires and non-employees. The specialist supports employment audits and contributes to employee engagement through benefit enrollment, surveys, and feedback mechanisms.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field

OR

  • 4 additional years of progressive HR or administrative experience in lieu of degree

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 3 years in Human Resources

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong knowledge across HR specialties
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on compliance and efficiency
