Responsibilities

SOME OF THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Manage the shared services Inbox and escalate queries where appropriate.
  • Ensure that all return to work forms and fit notes which are sent to the HR Department are processed accordingly and that the Payroll department are notified in line with payroll cut off dates.
  • To liaise with management in order to obtain outstanding return to work forms or fit notes as advised by the shared Services Manager.
  • Ensure that absence reasons stated within return to work forms or fit notes are inputted onto the appropriate HR Systems in line with payroll cut off periods.
  • To take ownership of the probationary process including probationary reviews and annual Performance Development Reviews (PDR’s). Ensuring all probationary reviews are logged onto the appropriate HR systems and managed accordingly.
  • To support with the collating and distribution of the probation data across the company, submitting monthly reports and liaising with management regarding outstanding probation reviews and extensions
  • Take ownership of the job role risk assessments data across the Lincolnshire provisions and liaising line managers regarding outstanding risk assessments and the tracking of new starters.
  • To support with the processing of contract variations following the successful completion of probationary reviews or training. Updating the appropriate HR Systems, notifying the Payroll Department in line with payroll cut off periods and issuing contract variation letters.
  • Take ownership of the leaver’s process, liaising with management regarding the acceptance of resignations and notice periods. To ensure that appropriate HR Systems are updated and that these changes are communicated to relevant departments across the company.
  • Maintaining and archiving of staff files following changes to staff details and in accordance with the leaver’s process.
  • Processing of reference requests for current and ex-employees. Obtaining appropriate consent where applicable and completing in line with company policy.
