OVERVIEW

We are looking for a HR Specialist to support the day-to-day human resources operations for the Royal Family of Abu Dhabi. This position is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented HR professional with strong generalist experience who can thrive in a confidential, fast-paced, and high-standard environment.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in human resources or a related administrative role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft, Salesforce, or similar HR software is advantageous.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction with staff at all levels.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new systems and processes.

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of HR experience, ideally in a generalist or business partner capacity
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Analytical skills with an eye for detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Strong time management and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • EU passport is mandatory

DUTIES

  • Serve as the main point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns
  • Assist in resolving employee relations matters and conducting internal investigations
  • Support recruitment activities including posting roles, screening candidates, and interview coordination
  • Help develop and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Ensure legal and policy compliance with labor laws and internal regulations
  • Support HR reporting and analytics to guide leadership decisions
  • Contribute to performance management cycles: goal setting, appraisals, feedback
  • Prepare documentation and maintain accurate HR records
  • Coordinate employee engagement and recognition programs
