Description What will you do in this job? Facilitate recruitment, screening, interviewing and hiring processes for the Agency. Collection and Interpretation of transcript, employment and reference records. Partner with the Payroll Specialist to accurately collect time sensitive benefits and payroll information. Partner with Human Resource staff to conduct employee orientation programs. Programs may include orientation for new hires, onboarding, benefits and payroll. Responsible for the accurate, organized filing, and safeguarding of hiring and personnel records. Active participation in the HR team to promote agency initiatives. Maintenance of ongoing agency and legally compliant personnel/HR processes. Work Schedule Fulltime, nonexempt position. Days and hours are typically business hours Monday through Friday. However, this position may require flexing hours to meet the needs of business. Compensation and Benefits Starting rate: Starting rate: $23.00/hour followed by eligibility for annual performance-based increases with maximum pay of $25.88/hour. Highest pay as a result of ongoing good performance and years of service. Medical, dental, and vision insurance with cost sharing of premiums for employees and dependents. Company paid life insurance. Paid vacation and sick leave accrued based upon hours worked. Twenty-four hours of floating holiday annually. Prorated based upon hire date in the first calendar year of employment. Additional hours of paid time off based on full or part-time status on the anniversary date. Eight paid holidays. Access to On Demand Payment. Bonus available based upon performance and prorated based upon hire date. Access to a financial assistance program to improve job skills connected to the work of Goodwill. If 18 years or older, eligibility to participate in a Retirement Savings Plan (401k or Roth IRA) at the entry dates (January 1st or July 1st). Enrollment eligibility following one year of service and have worked 1,000 hours in the first year or any calendar year thereafter, or 500-1000 hours each year for three consecutive years.
