The HR Department of Moxa Europe is seeking an HR Specialist (m/f/d) with focus on administration and payroll to join our team in Munich, near Leuchtenbergring. The position is currently offered as a fixed-term contract to cover a colleague on maternity leave for a minimum of 12 months.
This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of HR for our European entities in Germany, the UK, Spain and our subsidiary in France. You will be responsible for handling HR administrative tasks, managing payroll, maintaining employee records, assisting in recruitment processes, and support compliance with labor laws and company policies.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Min. 1 - 3 years working experience in an HR administrative role or similar position
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations
  • Handling sensitive employee information with the highest level of professionalism
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, shifting priorities, and urgent requests
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Embracing a multi-cultural environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and HR software (e.g. Personio)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (C1) & German (min. B1); additional languages are a plus

Responsibilities
  • Handle payroll processing and assist with additional payroll-related tasks monthly
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, such as preparing employment contracts, conducting orientation sessions, and processing exit documentation
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Support the recruitment process, including posting job advertisements and scheduling interviews
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
  • Address employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures, including employment confirmations and certificates
  • Coordinate HR-related events and activities in close collaboration with Office Management
