Under general supervision of the SSO HR Operations Supervisor, the position provides onboarding services for student appointments and oversees the day-to-day-operation of Shared Services Center, Student Onboarding Center. The onboarding services scope of operation includes serving newly hired student employees in departments supported by the SSO .

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - FOR FULL CONSIDERATION, APPLICANTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO UPLOAD LICENSE AND/OR CERTIFICATION IF REQUIRED OF THE POSITION

  • Experience providing excellent customer service in a high volume, fast paced environment, with multiple competing deadlines.
  • Experience using multiple electronic/automated systems and software such as MS Office Suite or other automated office tools.
  • Experience communicating verbally and in writing with a diverse clientele.
  • Experience working with confidential information, exercising discretion in dealing with potentially sensitive topics.
  • Skill to analyze and evaluate complex information, data or problems in an objective manner

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience coordinating and conducting on-boarding of new employees.
  • Experience in using software to conduct virtual meetings.
  • Experience using case management systems or active databases with automated workflow.
  • Formal training and/or experience in HR, Payroll and time and attendance.
