Competitive salary ranging from $99,938 to $110,271 p.a. plus superannuation and annual leave loading About the team The Shared Services HR (SSHR) Bathurst unit delivers essential HR services across the Department of Education. The team processes and manages onboarding, leave and payroll activities School and Education Support Staff, maintaining records of service statements, facilitates cross-public sector agency transfer, coordinate debt recoveries and provide expert pay and leave advice. About the role As the HR Supervisor, you will play an integral role in leading a high-volume, customer-focused payroll team and ensuring seamless daily operations. In this role you will: Drive team performance with a strong focus on continuous improvement. Implement professional development plans and foster a supportive and accountable team culture. Provide accurate and timely advice to internal stakeholders on conditions of employment, entitlements and HR payroll related matters and procedures. For further information please click here to view the role description About you We’re seeking passionate HR Supervisors with payroll experience, who delivers impactful leadership, brings strong operational management experience and thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. You will also demonstrate: Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll processes. Strong stakeholder management skills to deliver timely and accurate HR payroll services. Ability to be adaptable to change and drive continuous improvement. Strong understanding of Australian Tax, legislation conditions and award and entitlements. Experience and knowledge of payroll systems and software. Key Knowledge and Experience Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people. Essential requirements of the role Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or Business Administration or a relevant discipline, or demonstrated successful experience in stakeholder/customer engagement in a Shared Services/Payroll environment. Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
